Jarrod Washburn allowed Dan Mudry to rest his bullpen, tossing a complete game
as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Detroit Tigers by the score of 6 to 2
at Jacobs Field.

Cleveland came up with 4 runs in the 4th inning when they had 3 base hits.
The crucial at-bat was provided by Brendan Harris who made the Cleveland fans
a happy lot when he doubled which was good for two runs. Both teams finished
the game with 6 hits.

The win was credited to Washburn(5-9) who went the whole way allowing 2 runs.
Armando Galarraga(9-9) was the loser. He allowed 5 runs and 4 hits in 6
innings.
