Left fielder Matt Holliday cracked 2 homeruns as the Cleveland Indians
defeated the Detroit Tigers by the score of 8 to 4 at Jacobs Field.

The game started off with Cleveland taking the lead in the first scoring 5
runners on 5 hits. The early run support proved sufficient for Dustin
McGowan(1-5) and Cleveland. That was all the run support McGowan required.
Overall Cleveland out-hit Detroit 14 to 7.

Justin Verlander(7-10) was hit with the loss. He gave up 5 runs and 4 hits in
2/3 of an inning.
