It was a laugher out at Comerica Park. The Detroit Tigers squad ripped
Oakland pitching for a total of 11 runs. Brandon Webb(12-19), with relief
help from Eric Gagne, surrendered 2 runs to Oakland.

Miguel Cabrera had a big evening at the plate. He lined a single in the 1st
inning, doubled plating two runs in the 4th inning and lofted a solo-blast
'downtown' (his 42nd of the season) in the 6th inning. Detroit had 15 hits
overall, while Oakland had 2.

Kevin Millwood(5-6) was the losing pitcher. He was hit hard and gave up 10
hits and 2 walks in 3 and 1/3 innings.
